Remember my pink waterfall coat from last week? Well that wasn’t the only thing I bought from Ezibuy. I also picked up this rather bright yellow wool coat. I told you I had a coat obsession! This is no doubt a traffic stopper and somewhat reminds me of The Hubs’ high viz work gear. This is definitely not an outfit you want to wear if you are trying to blend into the background but when the weather is dreary sometimes you need a little lift and a pop of sunny yellow certainly does just that! Bright Yellow Wool Coat
I was originally going to wear this bright yellow wool coat with hot pink pants (I still might!) but then I spied this orange halter top and liked the colour combination. I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about overloading the yellow factor with the pants (also worn here). I think it works because the shades are different enough so as not to be too matchy matchy but I’ll let you be the judge. I chose complimentary rather than clashing accessories given the already OTT visual impact and simple rose gold accessories completed the look.
